Head of the Gut Microbiome laboratory at the Sorbonne University.
Internationally renowned expert in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and the gut microbiome, with over 200 publications in these fields. Involved in translational research, and current president of the French group Faecal Microbiota Transplantation.
His research on the commensal bacterium Faecalibacterium prausnitzii led to the foundation of the company.

Dr. Philippe Langella

Research Director at the French National Institute of Agricultural Research (INRAe).
Founder and current Head of the Laboratory of Commensals and Probiotics-Host Interactions at the MICALIS Institute, INRAe, in Jouy en Josas, France.
Head of Food and Digestive Ecosystems Department at the MICALIS Institute.
Lead author of over 200 international publications and co-inventor of 17 patents in the field of microbiology applied to human health. His research regarding the commensal bacterium Faecalibacterium prausnitzii led to the foundation of the company.

Prof. Patrick Gervais

Emeritus Professor of Process Engineering at AgroSup Dijon.
Founded and led the Microbial and Food Process Engineering laboratory at the University of Burgundy in France.
Published over 170 papers in the field of microbiology. Research led to the industrial application of the fermentation process
and the viable preservation of probiotics.
Participated in the development of a research center specialized in the industrial transfer and scale-up, called Welience 2ABI.
